A uniquely strong woman, who chose to be by my side
Entire dissertations can be written about Astra, focusing on her strong qualities, pronounced aversion to men, and narcissistic personality. When I mention her disdain for men, language falls short of capturing the depth of her contempt. It is understandable that her own experiences, coupled with the experiences of the women close to her, have led her to form a general opinion, and I can not blame her for it.
Her experiences in life, bolstered by a strong mother figure, have sculpted her into the strongest woman I know. She is not only capable of standing her ground but also prepared to defend herself when pushed to the brink. I hold in high regard her strength of character and her inability to take grief from anyone. She does not need anyone and could make it anywhere on her own.
This is precisely why the gift she has given me is so valuable. Despite her self-sufficiency, she opts to make an exception for me. To choose to spend her life with me, a man, who could possibly be like all other disgusting, perverted men out there, is a gift. The question must be asked, do I even deserve it? I may not share some of the more deplorable traits that some men have, but I am a man nonetheless. And I will be the first to admit I do have some perversions which can be plainly seen.
The gift that Astra has given me is priceless, but not without benefit. Now that she belongs to me, I will continue to train, discipline, and cherish her. How wonderful and bizarre it is to be loved by someone who hates all else.
